You keep using it as an objective statement, however, when it is clear that the horribleness of motorola phones is subjective, because I keep buying them.
Also, are you basing your opinion on just the razr?
I have used others of their phones but can't remember the names. It is the OS/GUI I find horrible. The hardware is very nice but not nice enough to make up for the software
I'm with Aidan on this one. The Motorola phones are a triumph of style over substance. Sure they may look nice and Star Trekky but the actual implementation of the software sucks balls.
I know that it can be fiddly at times, the lack of bulk-update type functionality and the tendency to forget about contact->image links when you change the image in any way has grated on occasion. Also, the way it names media files "dd-mm-yyyy" instead MSD-first is vexing.
However, the main reason I buy a phone is to make phone calls, and it does that with ease.
