So, since slamming my shin into a solid metal tent-peg at Maelstrom (not a little camping thing, one of those big fuckers that keep the army tents from falling down) the area immediately south of the injury has become somewhat numb.

Date: 2007-04-17 08:54 am (UTC)He went to the GP who said that gravity sends the blood and bruising south and that it was partially his own fault for not appliying ice to the knee the moment it happended and instead carried on walking on it.
But theres is little to be done except wait for it to go down.
It may not be the same thing but sounds a similar reaction to a similar injury.
