Strip tease

Okay, this is me being productive, and experimenting and shit. It's supposed to be a sort of a "daily strip" format, with a punchline every day, but the first one's very much just a setup thing.
I think they've come out okay visually, despite me being lazy and not colouring or shading the people at all. Given my perfectionist nature, I would have been there all day so it seems best to just shade the background.
Suggestions?

Looked professional, especially the lettering.
Who killed the poor dawg?

Date: 2005-02-02 12:53 pm (UTC)The flat backgrounds are partially laziness, but also me keeping an eye on doing this as a regular thing and trying to make it as painless as possible. Currently I'm looking into ways to streamline the lettering process. It's a pain, I do the bubbles in Illustrator but keep the finished file in Photoshop, which means I either have to rasterise the text or retype it all. I'd rather have PS text objects than flat images but retyping all the dialogue is annoying...
Hypothermia kilt the dawg. There was initially a caption to this effect, but it felt clumsy so I took it out. There was also going to be some dialog about Iain wearing a T-shirt in midwinter (or "midinter", which I will have to fix). But look, everyone else is wearing scarves!
"Midinter"
