(Further to last night's entry, which some may have missed through its midnightness.)

Ah!  Pictures.

The site was excellent, though Mr Andrews has here caught its very best side - some of the interiors (mostly carpets, stairs and chairs) owed more to its current Youth Hostel status than its historic origins.  But these things could be ignored by simply looking up to admire the ceilings.

I suspect I may be slightly allergic to the hat; I had blamed it on the swarming midges until somebody mentioned the possibility of allergies, at which point I remembered that the other times I wore it I came down with similar attacks of forehead bites.

I feel I should note that Friday night was interesting, despite my early bed time.  This was due to certain people deciding that the absolute best place to discuss my reputation and past history was outside my bedroom window.  Loudly.  Hee hee hee.

My plan for next weekend:

I will sleep in Stretford as normal on Friday and proceed to direct to Portmerion on Saturday morning for the weeding, where I (and [livejournal.com profile] bacony) shall meet with [livejournal.com profile] anne_l_davies who has the key to the cottage.

Unfortunately I've forgotten who was offered space in our cottage at any given time. I have memory of arranging that a [livejournal.com profile] mrssshhh would sleep in our cottage for the weekend then move to [livejournal.com profile] pkgem and Paul's after they go home (or their cottagemates do, or something like that). Then somebody else (possibly a [livejournal.com profile] batelf?) may have been onto our sofa, or into a bed vacated by somebody from our cottage going home. I'm reasonably sure there was only one guest at any given time, but most of the details have been pushed out of my head by NWO player brief. It is all a big blur to me.

So if you're under the impression that I have offered you bedspace, give us a shout so I don't forget you. As I say, I'm pretty sure we're not double booked, but currently the details are gone from my mind...
