Bullseye. We never knew who you were apart from "the man who stood behind Kay-Luna in boring Ordo meetings" so we nicknamed you "Exploding ninja death hat man". I hadn't realised it was you because I never actually saw you mayself - Morgan ("Valentine") described you to me a couple of times. He was convinced your hat was some kind of engine of death-dealing and wanted to murder you for it to add to his pile of Special Treasures, with the singing rock and his mother's mummified corpse. I never knew if the hat was dangerous or not, but now I've just put two and two together.
Hee! No, no, the hat itself was not dangerous ... it was just a handy receptacle for Earthskin and Endurance and such (which people should have realised, really, since item enchantments went on a lammy rather than the colourful bits of paper). It was no more magical than, say, the various satchel straps and belts that held similar coloured papers. I occasionally wondered whether putting them on the hat was a good idea, but it was the most convenient place, and I was never actually mugged, so as time went by I worried about it less.
Oh, there was one thing ... as well as enchantments the hat also contained my soul (character card). So I was usually quite careful with it. ;)
Hmm ... hmm, hmmmm ... well, we had a ... um, I know Nyl had some things on the go that ... I think we would have eventually ... er. I had a sword that could do Air Blast. And my hammer reduced production times, apparently...
