Work doings
Apr. 20th, 2004 04:44 pmWe've tentatively rolled out our system (in that "keep using your paper system too in case things spooge up" kind of way) to two clients now. The first one is throwing up all sorts of "MAJOR ERRORS" like "It doesn't display all the data in CAPITALS! The old DOS system worked all in capitals, why do we have to press Caps Lock ourselves this is not good enough!" This is infuriating, as we have to think about these issues to make sure they're as stupid as they sound, which takes valuable time away from actual important fixes.
The second system, however, is as good as gold. No problems, hardly any issues with site operation, they haven't even needed any training as they're finding the whole thing very intuitive. We love them.
Most satisfactory.
