1) Honestly, I forget. I think I wanted to sign up to some kind of crazy intarweb forum and "Andy" was taken. Also not very distinctive. I think it was shortly after Paula took to calling herself "Good Queen Glinda" (because she was chair of Mancherter University LARS). 2) I don't think so. It has reached me from unexpected sources, but always in the context that they know it was me. 3) I remember it was a Christmas, but I couldn't pin down the exact year. I think I was at University, so let's say 1998/9. Although, not in the technical sense.
