Currently being blown away by the sheer quality of the renders at http://raph.com/3dartists/artgallery/ag-ii1.html. Computer generated imagery is so damn good these days.

On the car into work today I happened to have the radio on when Justin Timberlake's song came one ("I just want to love you baby" etc). Against my better judgement I neglected to switch it off, or at least to shove a casette into the tape player. As I pootled along, mindlessly following the same old route to work, I happened to listen to the lyrics.

Justin Timberlake is telling thirteen-year-old girls everywhere how much he'd like to fuck them. And that they will enjoy it when he fucks them, and he will fuck them good.

"Ain't nobody love you like I love you
You're a good girl and that's what makes me trust ya
Late at night, I talk to you
You will know the difference when I touch you"

And they let children listen to this?

Pop music has been like that for ages. Crowded House got a chart hit with 'when you come' after all, which is mostly certainly about shagging.

Mind you, Justin Timberlake did come out with a corking line re: Brittany Spears virginity: "Well, her mouth certainly ain't..."

I've noticed it before, certainly. It's just that Timberlake song seemed particularly excessive. It's all pumping and thumping and grunting and gasping. It might as well be an early-90's Madonna track. "Ooh ... aah ... justify ... my love ... uuuuuhhhhh spooge."
