Threw together a support document for our crazy web-based stock management thing in a day and a half - nothing to do with the actual use of the site, just "how to tell what might be wrong with your internet connection, you dumbass". I was expecting it to need a complete revision since I'd written it in second-person language all the way through ("You should do this" and "Try looking here") instead of directing it at the helpdesk technician, but when I handed it to Will (nominal team leader) he seemed to think it was exactly what we wanted. This may be because of the shiny screenshots and captures I'd scattered willy-nilly about it, or possibly because I sounded like I knew what I was talking about when I said I was worried about having written it in the wrong person... or maybe I have a future in writing documentation. Shudder.

Dungeons and Dragons tonight and I still have not thought of a new Feat to take as Woodrun has reached Level 9. I was planning to take Weapon Focus (Composite Bow) because it's a prerequisite for the Order of the Bow prestige class, which was appealing for its +1d8 precision damage bonus, but I've thought it through and it's less interesting now. Mostly because the OotB precision bonus thing requires you to take a whole turn making a single attack. I'd rather take my three attacks than do a single, slightly more damaging one. Anyone know of an interesting barbarian ranger prestige class for a Ghostwise halfling to branch out into?

As far as the more immediate problem of feats goes, alternatives are Improved Rapid Shot (which negates some of the Rapid Shot penalty - tempting) and Ranged Pin / Ranged Disarm (both amusing and functional). Or, of course, Improved Initiative, which is always useful and often overlooked.

Halfling Bear Walker?

Mind you... you may just turn into a Wombat or Koala.
