Following my realisation of the Firestorm imp, I spent much of this weekend designing a character for somebody's biochemistry presentation. It seems to have come out quite well. Seriously, I went back to look at them again an hour later and was thoroughly stunned by the quality. I had no idea they looked so good.
Of them all, Apoptosis was probably the hardest - we had to express how this wonder drug stops Neutrophil cells from dying. I chose to illustrate this through the medium of a giant floating energy screen. He so crazy, man.
Enjoy. I'll probably put these up on my website in the folio at some point, since they're that good.
NeutroPhil | Migration | Phagocytosis | Superoxide Killing | Apoptosis

Date: 2004-03-15 09:21 am (UTC)If you cannot invest in a swanky printer, I am sure there must be places that you can take a disc in to and get it printed out all glossy and fancy-like. And then you just select the best ones and send a selection to companies requesting interviews etc and bob's your uncle hopefully.
Ed – will write soon, just got back from exotic two-week hols and been busy, that's all pet.
