Technically, the word "Ewok" is Expanded Universe material, as it is not used on-screen at any point in the movies.

If it's in the script then I'd say it a little more than expanded universe.

According to Wookiepedia - yes, though it remains subject to debate ("There are also minor disputes about what is, and what is not, part of the Expanded Universe. For example, the two Star Wars spin-off films: Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure and Ewoks: The Battle for Endor were written by George Lucas and are films, but they are not one of the six main films in the series, so they are usually considered to be a part of the Expanded Universe.")

Although ... is the word "Ewok" actually used on-screen in these movies?
