Another theory bears fruit - a random hot guy I spotted earlier turns out to be the bass player for one of the bands. Mmm, bass players.

It's been awhile since I've dated band fellows, but this algorithm usually holds true:

Lead singers/guitarists: vain pretty boys who get all the fangirls.
Bassists: fucked up bad boys who get the devotees, groupies, and angstier girls
keyboardists: kind of nerdy and not so much "in the band" as the other guys.
drummer: complete weirdo. Drummers have the most issues and are generally, by far, the most fun member of the band. If you like really mental dudes.
