Serenity Addendum

I was reasonably satisfied with my Bad American Accent this weekend. I do worry that it's not remotely convincing, but on Saturday (in an out-of-character aside, in the kitchen) I was questioned as to my country of origin, and whether I was in fact from Canada.

Not the precise country I was going for, but at least it was convincingly natural...

EDITED TO ADD: I've managed not to speak to anyone with the accent so far today, but I have unintentionally used it several times when muttering to myself.

Technically, all proper people come from Yorkshire. Everyone else is just degenerate remnants of previous invasions. Its been propved anthropologically, and that's science!

Yeah, I tend to meander a little - I think the bulk of it was John Barrowman but there was definitely more than a shade of Owen Wilson from time to time.

There is no new jersey accent. There's a brooklyn accent and alot of people from brooklyn move into eastern new jersey but not enough to warrant a new accent.
