I am arrived home from a barbecue at

markthebrewer's place. Discovered a new drink: Marks & Spencer's White Chocolate and Vanilla Flavour Cream with Selected Spirit. I enjoyed it - it is like white maltesers with ethanol in it - but I can see that it would not be everyone's cup of tea.

Yes, as near as I can determine that is the drink's actual name. There's something above the name - like "Savour the taste of" or "lose yourself in" but I'm not sure if that's part of the name or just some marketing bumf.

At no point does the nature of the spirit become clear beyond that it has been selected. Even in the ingredients it is listed as "Spirit".

Downstairs,

the_prince is watching Heroes alone. When I left,

bacony was looking for the CDs so she could introduce him to the show. I have this vague notion that she was then expecting to have him back at some point tonight. Poor, deluded girl.
