I remember when the last of the Matrix, Rings and Star Wars trilogies came out. "What, now, have we to look forward to?" quoth all we geeks in unison. "When shall we have cause to pay to see movies we have no wish to see, simply to see the trailers? What trailers can possibly hope to make a mess of our pants upon viewing? What movie sequels will we eagerly anticipate despite a perhaps substantial disappointment in previous outings?"

If this is true of FF and FF2 then I'm going to watch it just to see what the Absolute Zero of Pants Filmage actually looks like.
