I am still in Newark!

Apparently in the United States they have not heard of this thing called "rain" so when it comes they start cancelling their airplanes on account of slippery runways or something. My plane to Nawlins was the last one of the evening, so my 6 hour stopover has turned into something like 18. Possibly more.

The actual best case scenario at this point is that I get into Nawlins at 2pm, 23 hours before I have to be back at the airport to go home.

I AM REALLY HAPPY!

Andy, apparently no one had heard this development in your schedule because Leet posted on MoM very worried that they found out your flight was cancelled and were apparently unable to page you in Newark to find out what was up, so I called them and told them about this entry.

I don't know what your options are but it might be possible to fly from Newark to another major city to catch a connecting flight to New Orleans earlier than that time. The airlines are supposed to be accomodating especially to hawt British travellers like yourself, so perhaps that is something that might work?

And if I remember correctly Newark is a very boring airport. I had exactly the same experience 7 years ago on my way to flight school.
