Strange spam
Jul. 11th, 2006 12:50 pmI'm getting a lot of weird spam today. It's like somebody has finally flipped and completely lost sight of why they're trying to dodge spam filters in the first place. The mails contain no attachments, no links, arrive as plain text* and mention no products, emails or any other coherent content save a brief passage of randomly generated prose.
* Admittedly this may have something to do with
stsquad's webmail client being clever and stripping out special characters, or something. It does usually offer the option of seeing the HTML or otherwise dodgy version, though, even if it's picked it up as spam.
