Editing options aren't visible from the profile itself; you need to (when logged in) click the "Home" link, which takes you not to the MySpace homepage but rather to your personal MySpace home. It will say "Hello, Michael!" and present editing options.
Not necessarily a physical journal that the character's written, an internal monologue would do. He's just after character-developing things. Backgrounds, drawings, favourite music, all of that stuff.
I don't think Kevan would legitimately update his MySpace account while on the road (or much at all), either. I'm probably going to set this up as something he created a couple of years back and hasn't touched since...
I said he was from the US, then I used the internet to look up New York zip codes, cross-referenced with Google Maps for precision because I'm anal like that.
Amusingly, I've had 2 invites from 'Natalie' and 'Stacey' to join a 'The Hot Singles Network.' This is despit the first sentence of 'about me' being ***warning - this character is fictional***
There are people who just spend their time recruiting new people to their networks and gauge their self-worth by how many they have. There are also more than a few fictional characters on MySpace...
You might want to consider splitting that first sentence out into its own paragraph to make it more obvious though - put
...
around it.
MySpace requires a surprising amount of HTML knowledge to use effectively.

Date: 2006-06-23 10:20 am (UTC)Now I've created the site, I see no way of updating/editing it. Am I missing the blindingly obvious?
