They only had one gate when I was there, the second one being a polythene bag thing (They've changed that, apparently), and they've reportedly sorted their act out a bit.
It's a great set up for sci-fi LRP, and the system is nice and chunky, but I was disappointed when I went to there second event.
Same system. Nath was at the first one, and then they sacked him. They had John David (if you don't know him, you're lucky) as a ref for two events, and then sacked him. I believe Matt Jenkins and Tony Kehoe were involved, but they may have left by now.
I think the current organisational set up is Sam Griffin, Sarah Watkins and some of Sarah's CP buddies. I was going to wait for a bit and see if it got better.
As mentioned, it wasn't the greatest feat of organisation, one can only hope that they really have improved. I REALLY won't appreciate people waking me up at 5 to 7 am (after going to bed after midnight) saying we are due out on a mission that no-one told us about IN FIVE MINUTES!!!
Oh yes, that was the mission our Team Leader REFUSED because he'd been guarding the gate till 3am!
