"Well, we know that when you try to lift something while you're flying there's something other than your physical strength at work," Olsen countered. "There may not even be an upper limit on that. Have you ever tried?"

A brief memory from an ill-spent youth. Clark Kent doing handstands in the Gobi desert. A strange sense of disappointment, followed immediately by guilt for even having tried. Craters on the moon...
