Han Shot First

The release of the theatrical versions of the original Star Wars trilogy on DVD have been noted elsewhere, so I will instead provide linkage to this commemorative T-shirt. Yes, Lucasarts are releasing an official "Han Shot First" shirt. Never let it be said that Lucas doesn't have an eye for the merchandising.


In other news: Maelstrom downtime is open! We have two weeks to submit downtimes! No time to dither! Crikey, what happened to sending out notifying emails?

Lucas is really like an abusive father really isn't he, slaping the fans and then buddying up to them later. Screw him I'll buy the proper t-shirt :p.

I won't be buying that t-shirt at all, iI think it's a dumb call. (And it's not really just Lucas either, as far as I'm aware Rick McCallum has a fair bit of influence over old George.)

This shirt says it all. I wonder if Lucas will release that as well, with a caricature of some beardy twat who accidentally made a sci-fi masterpiece in the Seventies.
