Shortpacked is doing things that make David Willis laugh. This has always been the case; I think he does it mostly to amuse himself, and luckily that happens to also amuse his audience (although perhaps it's less luck and more having attracted an audience of like-minded individuals over the six or seven years he's been making comics).
As far as Real Life goes ... I don't read it very often. It's not laugh-out-loud funny, but I find it vaguely entertaining in a kind of "ha, yeah, those guys" kind of way.
I am pappreciative of the Alien Guy turning up and basically going 'Hi Kids, I was shit in other comics, sorry', stomping on the fourth wall and then elaving. *snicker*
Real Life for me is on my 'blank label click through'. I really need to set firefox to do all the toons in one lump, you'know.
