Yeah I think I just got there ... as a Toreador. Not only have I barely managed to scratch it, but the bloody thing cuts the framerate in half ... and then it goes and uses its special attack, which is apparently some method of using the frailties of my graphics card against me. Yes, this enormous flying bat thing has realised that it's living in a computer game, and determined that the absolute most efficient way of defeating a foe is to throw lightsourcing at him and make the ground go all wobbly. Because my poor PC can't handle that dammit.
Am going to poke around the web for game guides, there must may be an alternate method for non-physical characters. I was able to dispatch the werewolf without too much trouble, after all...
