Nothing terribly new there, in terms of Catholic doctrine.

I myself learned the Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection (or whatever the kids are calling it these days) during freshman biology in a Catholic high school. In 1980.

It's nice to see the Vatican calling out the wackos, though.
