Excellent, looks like wrist watches are perfectly acceptable in a 1920s setting.

Funny how much in our societies are a result of war.

True, but in this case the wrist watch already existed as a woman's accessory - officers in the trenches adopted them as they were more convenient than fishing a watch out of the pocket. They caught on, the army started mass producing them, and the rest as they say is history...

i wasnt referring to the wrist watch per se, more to the comment about how much in our society was the result of war
