In other news:  New desktop. And, in a related story, the new series has confirmed NOT ONLY Anthony Stewart Head AND an episode penned by Stephen Fry, BUT ALSO the return of Sarah Jane Smith.

You know, I genuinely didn't used to think I was a screaming fanboy...

ADDITIONAL: BY ROYAL APPOINTMENT. That's kind of endearing, even if it is almost entirely speculative.

And I'm only beginning to realize the depths of my own fanhood (and their research); I recently saw a familiar flying saucer in a clip from a very old serial. And here I thought RTD's crew just made up the design on their own...

The sudden thought occurs that Ms Smith was known to be in possession of a certain artefact.

Whether this will have any bearing on the new series remains to be seen.
