Partly to get that last post off the top of my journal, partly to spread the love.
You choose your friends wisely and even though they may be few in number, they are high in importance.
You feel most comfortable when you can follow the crowd and let others make decisions. But that's not to say you can't make up your own mind if you need to.
Faithful and true, Piglets make the best friends.
Which Pooh character are you?

Mum took me shopping yesterday, because Jo (younger sister) wanted to buy trainers. We spent about 2.5 hours there in all, and it took her that entire time to find the exact right trainers. They were blue and had blue fire on them. Pretty cool, actually. Meanwhile I spent my time wandering up and down the shopping centre and buying things from HMV: I have now spent the remainder of my birthday money, I bought Sinbad and The Second Coming.
Then Mum found me and dragged me into a few clothes shops in a vague attempt to buy me a "proper" birthday present. She wants to buy me some clothes that will make me look a bit more respectable. I think she has been watching a little too much Trinny and Suzannah for my liking. Anyway, she asked me which coats I would buy for myself, and she tutted and said we would just have to find some sort of compromise. So I pointed out which coats in that particular shop I would happily wear if somebody else bought them for me, which was all of them except about two. She nodded and hummed, and then we went somewhere else. I don't think she's planning to buy me anything in secret since my birthday was last week - I think she just wanted more time to think. Or something. Maybe she just wanted an idea of the sort of things I wear so she can buy something cheaper online, as is her current compulsion. Oh well.

I didn't see The Second Coming when it was on TV, but I like the writer - Russell T Davies, the man in responsible for bringing Doctor Who back to our screens at some point probably. He also wrote Dark Season, which I loved way back when, as well as a book for the Virgin line of Doctor Who novels, which I also liked, and some small-time TV programme about the gays (which I have also never seen but it got a second series so it can't be all that bad). So I figured I'd pick it up on DVD, since it was reasonably cheap and they are like crack.
Sinbad I bought because it is Exalted given form. Particularly our own ship-based campaign (currently on unofficial hiatus). Also, because it proves once again that it is possible for cartoon characters to be secksay.
