kingandy | Raj returns!

Just got a call from the garage to say that Raj survived the operation. There was a minor complication with the radiator; he's been given a plastic weld, or something, which apparently "should hold." The mechanic is charging me a hundred pounds less than the estimate because he's not doing any work on the bonnet (which apparently is slightly dented but is not worth respraying).

I'm heading to Manchester tonight to pick the car up tomorrow, from where I will take it to a tyres place and (fix the|purchase a new) tyre. Friday is on.

Shit, my faith in the world has been restored. Trust to serendipity and love. Rose-tinted goggles: Check. Altogether now: If we take our time, and we stick together, everything we do will go our way...
