It could be the addition of an iris-like background, the change in colour scheme, the way the lens flare now interacts with the lettering, it could even be the cunning but subtle alteration of the pointless dot between the words, but something about the logo for the Who companion series Doctor Who Confidential makes it a whole lot better than the actual series logo.  At least, it does in my book.

Oh, and I note on Outpost Gallifrey that we're now less than a month away from the new series.  Further reading indicates that this has not yet officially been announced, which seems to be cutting it rather close to the wire.  Still, a date for the diary.

I actually prefer the actual logo as opposed to the confidential one. Although, the confidential one does seem to fit happier with my memory of the original show - Dr. Who and the colour blue match in my mind. Maybe that why so many people gt pointlessly upset about the new Who logo looking a bit like the Farscape logo - Farscape and orange-brown are a match in my mind too. I blame the space vehicles. Always.

I don't mind that it looks like Farscape. I'm sad that it looks a bit shit, but it doesn't bother me all that much.

TBH I think it's the little TARDIS that makes the Confidential logo infinitely superior. :)
