It's funny what you find when you're going through two years of archived mail.  I have about three promises of games from arwel - Silver Marches (proposed for the middle of May 2004), Feng Shui (which seems to have just sort of tailed off) and the "Mad" game (which we did actually get a session of).  It's sad how suddenly we've gone from "far too many games to rune them all" to "never geek".

(I'm still considering a game of Big Eyes Small Mouth but it's not really a viable replacement to the Tuesday Night game as it'll probably run at Chez Bennee, making a weeknight tricky for Sam and Nook, and probably Gem as well though I've not spoken to her.  I'd be willing to run something else on Tuesdays, if it means saving the regular thing before all memory of it vanishes.  Some other night would be okay too if people have already filled that time.  I am of the opinion that regular sessions are good things.)

I am also reminded that the Sunderland Massive promised us a visit, which has not yet happened (unless I am more out of the loop than I thought).

Finally I've been trying to get Thunderbird to read IMAP mail from the Bennee.com server, which involves setting up a tunnel between my PC and the one upstairs over the internet. I've got it to the point where it no longer says "cannot connect" but it's still not reading any folders or mail at all. The annoying thing is that the options on the account setup interface seem to imply that IMAP supports a secure logon naturally, without all this port forwarding nonsense. Oh well, I suppose I'll just have to talk to Alex or something.

I too miss my regular geek fix. I'm tempted to hold out for Nook's promised Mage game as I've done my prequel and am intrigued. However, he's off geek until Michelle "settles in" and being as that makes for a rather an indeterminate passage of time, I could be sans tabletop for many months and with me that could turn into years (like it did when our Wednesday night Uni society splinter group broke away and then all drifted apart. This would be bad.
Currently with two good TV nights and my studies and saving Fri/Sat nights for fun and socialising, I do have enough on my plate but I also do miss the tabletop geeking. Also, one of my TV nights is drawing to a close (SG1 and Atlantis both being near the end of their seasons) and I do have the power of Sky+ enabling my viewing pleasure not to rule my life. So, yes, I'd be up for a weekly installment of geek. I would not be up for running one but luckily it does sound as if you are willing to do this (yay!).
In a very verbose way, I'm trying to say that I'd be happy to join a regular game. I can make it to Chez Bennee on a weeknight provided that the game draws to a close at a reasonable time (10:30pm/ 11pm very latest) and providing trafic isn't bad - in good traffic you are only 20mins away by car and I know the route.
Let me know what you decide. If you opt for joining the Adventure game and not running your own then that is fine. I will poke Nook with sharp sticks until he runs Mage.

I would run stuff, but Nook is foolishly factored into my plans. I could be persuaded to run a short Ars Magica campaign on a schoolnight in Manchester. Then I could happily exclude Nook for a bit.
