BBC News Theme: The Quest Continues

Have located a raw file of the News24 version of the BBC News theme, on Sub-TV. It does beep satisfyingly.
More clips of the theme developing through the ages over at TV Ark, your source for all things historical and TV-related. These are video clips, so not so much use in the old MP3 playlist.
Er, here's the website of composer David Lowe, and it turns out the theme was available on CD by request until the start of this year ... I'm not having much luck tracking down any samples of Bill Bailey's version though.
There's a brief clip of Bill's take here (Clip 3). It's not actually from the Part Troll tour, but it does have a brief snatch of the same joke. Comedians, like comic-book editors, never throw anything away.
Finally, if you do not have any form of media player available to you, worry not - there are transcripts available at Planet Bods.
