Leaving on a jet plane

So, off to New Orleans from Gatwick tomorrow at 10:30 AM.

stsquad pointed out last night that, were I a clever bunny, I would perhaps have arranged with a friend to travel down tonight and get some kip (and polite conversation) with a friend or friends in the area. Oh well.

Let's see ... according to The Train Line my best bet is to catch the 5:20 from Manchester Piccadilly.

This does not mesh well with getting to Manchester Piccadilly, which according to GMPTE at that time of day involves getting the bus to Manchester Airport and catching the train back into Manchester. There's got to be a better way...

One Month Later

A month on, and I still think about Phil. A lot.

Packing for Norly.

When I went home a couple of weekends ago my sister gave me some rock that she had bought for me in Whitby; I thought to put these in my carry-on luggage for something to do on the flight.

Then I thought: Airport X-ray machines.

Best not to have anything in the bag that could look anything like dynamite, ne?
