A chance mention had me poking around the TV Ark site, and I came across an old advert that came up in conversation on Wednesday. Though approaching the end of its second decade, it still stands up quite well as advertising self-parody.

trailers for X-Men 3 and Superman Returns (which, for those keeping track, is sort of "Superman 3a" - apparently the director is choosing to ignore 3 and 4 from the first franchise and produce a sequel to 2, down to using some footage from Marlon Brando that was originally shot for 2).

Have driven home for Christmas (I return to Manchester next Wednesday or Thursday).

Naturally, upon arrival my Mum asked me to change every lightbulb in the house.
