Jobs: The Continuing Saga
Dec. 7th, 2005 01:11 pmYesterday's interview was interesting - they seemed to like me, and were interested in Moving Forward. The way in which they suggested doing this was to have me in for a day, possibly two, to work with Paul The Developer so he could evaluate my ColdFusion skills. It seems like a reasonable plan, but I'm slightly wary that they may be trying to get free work out of me. I'll probably go for it though.
In other work-related news: Got an interview with cube3media next Tuesday to talk about freelancing - at 5pm, would you believe it, but at least it's in Bolton so I'll be on site for our weekly meal. There's also a 6-month-ish contract going down in Telford ... I'm reluctant to go for one so far away though, particularly because it involves travel between there and Sheffield. Plus, the job spec seems to be more in the line of a systems designer/analyst than a programmer. So I think I'll give that one a miss.
