Appreciation

In a fit of narcissism, I find myself wondering after certain pictures that were taken this Friday last.  If anyone has such (or indeed any other photos of myself that I have not seen), I'd appreciate copies.

In other news I'm currently mulling over whether to reprise my role as Hammad at the next NWO or let somebody else take up the reins (and play a different part myself).  Currently leaning towards yes, but as ever my opinions are guided by those around me, so I'd appreciate people's thoughts on the subject.  (Naturally thoughts of People Who Know will be valued more than those who have no idea.)

So. Sad.

Inordinately geeky moment: today a review of the latest Doctor Who novel ("Island of Death", featuring the Third Doctor and UNIT) popped up in my RSS feed.  Upon reading said review, and picking up on the affectionately satirical undertones hinted at ("'Jinkies!' you'll exclaim as everyone boards a boat to rescue him, and the Brigadier drinks solidly."), it occurred to me that the title would have worked nicely with "And The" at the beginning.  In the old days, you see, when a TV story was adapted to novel form it would usually be renamed in the form "Doctor Who And The...".  In extreme cases, the title would be changed completely ("Terror of the Zygons" => "Doctor Who and the Loch Ness Monster").

This, of course, despite "Who" not actually being the Doctor's name.

My brain being what it is, I then started thinking about what episodes of the most recent series fit nicely into that format.
