Change of Plan

I have been offered a spot crewing for Riftworld.  I will likely be taking this opportunity, since the SoS AGM doesn't really interest me all that much and I don't have any other plans.  (morningstar_lj - there may well be opportunity for geeky evening, with beer and takeaway, on Sunday.)  It's free, and I don't crew nearly enough.  Plus it'll give me a chance to get my small amount of SF kit out of storage!  Huzzah.

Job update

Just had two agencies ring within five minutes.

Interview 1: 2pm Monday, Burnley

Interview 2: 8.30am Wednesday, Manchester

Yes, 8.30 AM.  The tough part is, I need to prepare a presentation for Interview 2 - just something 10-15 minutes in Powerpoint (!) demonstrating my knowledge of W3C standards using examples of my work.  Or something.  Am waiting for emails with details.  But they want it sent over by Tuesday, and between the interview on Monday and Riftworld I'm not sure I'll have time. 

Nah, I'll get up early Monday, it'll be fine.

Why'd you have to go and make things so complicated?

Complications arise as I suddenly recall I promised to feed the plants and animals here while their owners are away.  Cuss.  I'll feed them today and on Sunday, one day missed won't hurt them?  Will it?
