The Color of Magic, Terry PratchettDiscworld - Your universe lies on the far end of the reality continuum, though there are times when it's hard to tell which one. But no matter how you look at it, it's always hilarious.

In Which Fantasy Series Do You Belong?

I'm quite pleased I got that one. I could tell what some of the other answers were leading towards and I'm glad I didn't get His Dark Materia[1]. I would have been happy with LotR, I suppose, though I'm not sure I could take that much trudging.

[1] Not a typo ("-ls"). I made the decision long ago to call it that in perpetuity. I've got it down to the point where I do it reflexively now.

I now have an LJ client, which means I can type in journal entries at work without being terribly obvious about it. This means I can continue to pester you all with the minutae of my life.

In that vein: The very tip of my right index finger currently has no fingerprint texture. This is because I poked part of Raj's engine on Tuesday, when I was fixing the sparkplugs. It was an unwise thing to do, since the engine was very hot. I think it may have cooked a bit. There's scar tissue or a callous or something there now.

Crap! I'm an annoying teenager in a stupid coat!

jubileeYou are Jubilee!
Though you may be young and inexperienced, you have great potential and will someday become an admirable figure. For that to happen, though, you must overcome your juvenile belief system and adopt a more mature view on life.

Three entries in a day. Yes, this is me cutting back.

An observation. I have two distinct groups of LiveJournal friends: people that I actually know and have met (or at least know through people I know), and people I virtually know through http://hateatron.com. As far as I am aware there's no other intersection between the groups besides me, which means I grin proudly when a meme I've lifted from one group turns up in the other one. Naturally, memes being memes I'm sure there are other entry vectors, and it could easily be pure coincidence that these things happen exactly as I'm spreading them. Ignorance, however, is bliss.

Doctor Who tonight (UK Gold) was "The Androids Of Tara". I knew this without seeing the title, as soon as I heard Romana say they had landed on a planet called "Tara". I have never seen this episode before. This has been happening quite a bit recently. Am slightly disturbed. Possibly this is from flipping through Davo's Doctor Who magazines in order to get to the cartoons.

RANDOM NARCISSISM: Tell me how much you love me, and why.
