Ben Browder joins Stargåte SG-1 cast
This may be an unwise career move, unless he wants to be doing Sci-Fi for the rest of his life. On the other hand, work is work, and as an SF fan I wouldn't complain...
In a related story, Claudia Black will be there too, but she'll be a guest-star (or possibly recurring character) rather than a regular. She speaks about that and the PK Wars here.
Apparently she'll "be very interested to see Ben and Micheal Shanks working together." Won't we all.

Re: Its all there in SFX
Date: 2005-01-23 03:39 pm (UTC)Jonathan was unconfident, had low self-esteem, was easily manipulated and wasn't particularly good at anything (he was half decent at magic but not great). Also, Jonathan didn't deliver many funny one-liners or comic observations.
McKay is confident to the point of (self-confessed) arrogance. At least in his role as scientist were he is a leading person in his field. Although he is often afeared for his life he is not easily manipulated being too inquistaive and untrusting of others opinions and beliefs (because naturally, he knows better). McKay can deliver funny lines and his humour is wry and sometimes patronising and/or sarcastic.
