Nov. 14th, 2004 10:03 pmBack from SoS (obviously). Had a great time as Isaac leFey, thwarting the forces of villainy on the special Heroic linear game. (Though Isaac is more of a scoundrel than a hero, he does have a heart of gold, is apparently lovable, and enjoys a good flounce as much as anyone.) Currently many pieces of kit are drying in
stsquad's kitchen and they'll probably still be there after I leave for Ilkley tomorrow - Alex, do feel free to dump the stuff in my room if it's getting in your way when it's dry. Since I got back I have been mostly playing Enter The Matrix - it's actually quite enjoyable, except for (a) the car levels where Ghost (my chosen character) rides shotgun and Niobe's driving AI occasionally flips a mental, and (b) the way it occasionally spontaneously reboots my PC at the start of a level. Always the same levels. I'm getting round it by playing in Safe Mode, which is low-res and silent, but at least it gets me past the levels.
Suggestions for birthday activities were quite thin on the ground - it has occurred to me, though, that The Incredibles goes on general release that weekend, so a group outing may be on the cards either to Bolton or Didsbury.
Birthday: Movie Trip?

I vote Bolton!
