Acquiring a switch for the headlights has proven more difficult than I thought.  The local (Bolton) breaker's yard didn't have Accords in, and Honda apparently guard their parts industry well - all the spare parts shops said to go to a licensed Honda dealership, even the guy whose advert said "All makes and models".  The Honda dealer, on the hand, said they don't do spare parts on the weekend, so I should ring back tomorrow, whereupon they can put in an order.  So the earliest I can get the damn lever is Tuesday (if I leave work early and pop in on the way to pkgem's, or something), unless I can find somewhere in Yorkshire that does them.  Or something.

I may have to miss Geek on Tusday - I'm not sure about driving on the motorway in the dark.

It's still just a possibility at the moment. But it will be dark, and the streets of Bolton are one thing, but the motorway is quite another.
