I bought a B5 RPG years ago - it was all glossy and stuff - in fact, I'd forgotten all about it (I have tons of old stuff, not much new). This one is different than that one maybe?
Apparently. If nothing else, they've managed to secure the rights to use the actors' faces - so the interior is lush and verdant with actual photos instead of crappy paintings. ;)
Ah yes, I remember it now - there were a lot of crappy out of proportion images, and no photos at all. Head too small, hands too big - ooh look, a deformed Minbari with no forearms (I think that one was holding sme kinda staff)?! I can be critical of art like that too, studied figurative work for about....six years continuously, had break, did another year, and now I just do lots of randomness?! So I can get peeved with sub standard art work in books! Don't think much about some of the AD&D 3rd Ed. artwork too. Some of the stuff looks so plastic, made me wonder if it was purely computer generated. Saying that, I have the 1st Edition, but that was at least 'cute' in a roughly hewn Russell Crowe kinda way :oD
