I've seen stills and read SFX's "non-spoiler" article. Apparently, despite what the writers/ producers said, the mini-series is not taht accessible for new people and is great for fans. Also, it can be a little cheesy in the first half but the second half is apparently so brilliant that all will be forgiven.
I hope that Channel 2 or Sci-Fi UK pick it up, and soon. Or else they release a DVD. I'll even take the Region 1 DVD now that my lovely PS2 will play them.
I want to see it now! So gonna watch this trailer as soon as I get home. Hugs and kisses to The King. xxx
I loved Farscape (for several reasons), but missed a load of the middle series, hence a need to catch up on all that (like what happened to Xan and who's the woman with three eyes)?
Hmm, I need to buy the series on DVD methinks. Don't know what came about to make me miss a huge chunk (a series even?) of episodes. I liked Bab 5, but Farscape's sexier. There's an RPG too isn't there?
There is; it's d20-based, with several large modifications (psionic-type "power points", and a race/class interdependecy for generating both them and hit points, being the major ones). I enjoyed it, because the book is mostly background information and plot ideas - you can ignore the rules almost entirely if you're familiar with d20 already, which I suppose is what it's all about, really.
There is also a new B5 RPG out too. It is apparently also d20-based, though I have not played it.
I bought a B5 RPG years ago - it was all glossy and stuff - in fact, I'd forgotten all about it (I have tons of old stuff, not much new). This one is different than that one maybe?
Apparently. If nothing else, they've managed to secure the rights to use the actors' faces - so the interior is lush and verdant with actual photos instead of crappy paintings. ;)
Ah yes, I remember it now - there were a lot of crappy out of proportion images, and no photos at all. Head too small, hands too big - ooh look, a deformed Minbari with no forearms (I think that one was holding sme kinda staff)?! I can be critical of art like that too, studied figurative work for about....six years continuously, had break, did another year, and now I just do lots of randomness?! So I can get peeved with sub standard art work in books! Don't think much about some of the AD&D 3rd Ed. artwork too. Some of the stuff looks so plastic, made me wonder if it was purely computer generated. Saying that, I have the 1st Edition, but that was at least 'cute' in a roughly hewn Russell Crowe kinda way :oD

More about the 3-eyed woman can be found here. She is a meddler, and meanders between frighteningly insightful and completely batty.
