Outpost Gallifrey has some much better pictures of the Doctor Who shoot than the BBC site, including some elusive out-of-focus badly-lit shots of yeractual Doctor And TARDIS.  The fanboy in me is SQUEE.

I'm sure jellybabies will make an appearance at some point. The writers are all hardcore fans (Paul Cornell actually being the first otherwise unpublished "fan" author to make it into Virgin's New Adventures range), there will be plenty of fanservice sneaking in from the sides.

Excuse me, I've never EVER thought of James Bond as mean, moody, mysterious and sexy. I do have some taste you know.

Anyway what is wrong with the Doctor being this, he's a Time Lord, with a higher form of intelligence, who travels through time and space, with the ability to regenerate each time he dies from an alien planet, why does he have to look, act and dress like a twerp? Surely there can be more to him than this?
