In an uncharacteristic show of willing, I have begun a Random Encounter.
It is perhaps my most ambitious so far, and will make copious use of computer-applied effects and fontology. It has been drawn at double size, because I understand this is the way proper-type artists operate. I promise - both my audience and myself - that I will ink it on Wednesday (tonight is D&D geekery). Not sure when I'll be able to scan it, since it's my Mum's birthday this weekend and thus I likely won't be in Manc, but if I can get my oldPC up and running in Ilkley it may be done over the weekend.
The cartoon will function as something of a companion and counterpoint to the classic Pokésos strip, though contains very little humour as such, and is based more on actual events. Not, however, events that happened the weekend past. Take that, and combine it - if you will - with this, and you may have some idea where I'm aiming at.
Oooh. Tantalising.
