I have a love-hate relationship with my comics. I think the key is, I hate how poor JLA has become because I remember how good it was ... Priest, Morrison, Waid, these names are hallowed. I will probably drop it after 100 (next month), I remember the last JLA #100.

It's true that being drawn nets something a certain amount of points with me. I'll give any comic a shot, especially if somebody else buys it. Hell, I read Gotham Central every month, purely because [livejournal.com profile] batelf leaves it in my living room like a comic pixie. A comic only nets "reading" points from its medium though. There's a lot of tosh out there that I certainly wouldn't spend my hard-earned cash on.
