Imagine the anticipation they;ll get when they don't get a random encounter in the newsletter... It's clever marketting... given a month of no random encounter they'll sell you there first born sons to see your drawings...

Admittedly it has been over a month since the actual event that the comic pertains to. But I have drawn and inked it! It just needs speech bubbles. And boxes. Maybe some colouring in. But that's it.
