Despite working all weekend, I will be journeying to Manchester this Saturday evening. COME TO OUR HOUSE there will be beer and DVDs. A selection of fine viewing is available, from Batman starring ADAM WEST to the Avengers starring SOME PEOPLE. Also such things as X-Men 2 and, oh, loads of stuff.

(Note: Beer will not be forthcoming, bring your own)

Anyone else in town feel free to drop me a line, you'll probably be welcome but we only have a limited amount of space so it's first come first served. Last time I put out an open call we had to get seriously cozy...

Nook, I hear you're in Blackpool or something this weekend, that's why I left you off the list. I love you really.

However, I have already made plans to go to the cinema to see Starsky & Hutch with Rachael. You see Paul has planned a "blokes night out" with Dobbsy, Steve, Sam, Adam (from TAG), others and our neighbout Tracey (who's not a bloke but is apparently allowed due to her being single; our recent success with Steve & Rachael has inspired Paul to attempt further match-making - it will all end in tears, I've told him). Anyway, due to this Rachael was all alone in her new home of Bolton and only really knows me. So I, quite selflessly of course, suggested we go and see Starsky & Hutch together as Paul doesn't want to see it.

Summary: Thanks but I'll have to decline.
