Bah. Looks like I may have to cancel my weekend at SoS in favour of work. I don't like to let my employ impinge on my social activities (any more than it already does by virtue of being so very far away), but the work desperately needs to be done and it looks like the only way it'll get done.

Might get paid overtime, but as always with this company, I will not believe it untill the cash is in my hand...

are you a slave? No will they be greatful for the work in any way what so ever? probably not.

Because, spiritually, doing unpaid overtime at work will not inflict as much negative karma on Andy as going to SoS would.

Seriously, hey! You have problems with people at SoS fine. Have problems with them. I put a helluva lot of work into SoS and we've got a bucket load of newbies there now who really enjoy it. Stop badmouthing the club. It's childish and doesn't help anybody. Just makes you sound bitter.

I'm beinging to lose my sense of humour it seems. You just seem to be having a go at a lot of systems at the moment. Yes SoS has it's faults, but it's getting better...

You remember how i'm waiting for the 'all clear' thumbs up before giving Sos another go. I'll probably wait an event or two after the wampyri plot is dead just to be sure.

Well, I'd rather have a job than not (though the chances that they'd fire me and have to fork out recruitment moneys are minimal), and if I seem to be a Team Player there may be an actual pay review of sorts. Aside from all that, if the system is not rolled out in time, real actual people may suffer (the targets of the system, being patients in need of equipment).

It being so very important to the project there is in fact a slightly increased chance of actual overtime pay. Unpaid overtime as standard operational procedure is something Team Leader Will is starting to dig his heels in about.

Anyway, there was SoS two weeks ago and Maelstrom's just next week, so I find it hard to consider myself seriously hard done by for LARP.
