In other news: pkgem's mate has specced me up a good PC. It has 512MB ram and 2.7GHz processor (as well as some impressive sounding graphics and such), for the reasonable sum of four hundred and fifty odd pounds. Now I have to decide if I want to buy it or not. It is appealing, and I do need a better PC, but, ooh, cash money. It would be much cheaper to buy a gamebox...

UPDATE: Have told Gemma yes, yes I do have more money than sense.

Depends on how much you want to run the lastest version of Photoshop I suppose.

Yes, that is a factor. I don't necessarily need the latest version, but it would be nice for it to run more quickly.

And I have many games already for my PC which would benefit (ie. become playable) from a new box, whereas with a gamebox I would have to build up a new library from scratch.
