Sitcom Proposal #227

 "Brothers in Faith"

Ian Brothers and his brother, Robert Brothers, are both monks of different prominent Christian denominations and are also somehow married to the same woman, Faith.  The humour in the series comes from witty and insightful discourse on the differences between their religious convictions, obscure points of dogma from the two denominations and debate on subjects such as faith, spirituality and rational observation, as well as cock jokes, innuendo and implied bigamy.  Greg Evigan stars.

I can see an episode guest starring Paul Reiser, who comes along with a daughter that could be his or Evigan's character's. This opens the door to numerous witty My Two Dads in-jokes. This is resolved when the episode turns out to have been a bad dream induced by undercooked squid rings.
